Our 83 miles of unspoiled beaches is probably the greatest attraction of the Island.

National Geographic considers our beaches among the top ten in the world!.

• Offering changing facilities, a snack bar, and a shuttle bus from town, Jetties beach is about a 15 walk from the Inn. It is located on the warmer/calmer water of the Nantucket Sound (north) side of the Island.
• For bigger waves and surfing, the south side beaches are a treat. There is a bus service to Surfside Beach.

The are almost endless trails for Walking/Jogging/Biking:

• Young’s Bicycle Shop, Nantucket Bike Shop and Nantucket by Bike are close by

For on-the-water activities:

• Fishing charters: Great off shore fishing
• Nantucket Community Sailing Kayak, Windsurfer and Sailboat rentals
• Endeavor daily sailing cruises
• Seal cruises and Whale watching exciting eco-tours

Tennis can be played at the public courts at Jetties Beach.

Nantucket has 3 excellent Golf Courses, one public.

For Yoga or a Health Club a two mile trip is required.

Birdwatching programs are available all year.
