The Sherburne Inn is conveniently located in historic downtown Nantucket at 10 Gay Street, a quiet one way street away from the bustle and commotion, yet just a 5 minute walk to:

  • the harbor wharfs and harbor side beach
  • down-town restaurants
  • shops, galleries and antiques
  • museums, library, and churches
  • the transportation hub
  • visitor center

Our building is featured on walking tours of the historic district as well as on the “ghost tours”. (But no, we haven’t seen a ghost yet!)

Nantucket is located 25 miles off the coast of Cape Cod. The main point of departure to Nantucket on the Cape is Hyannis where there is an ample supply of parking available (for a fee) at the ferry terminals and at the Barnstable County (Hyannis) Airport.
