Ferry Connections to Nantucket

Nantucket is accessible by ferry from Hyannis, Massachusetts. Two companies provide year-round service.

The Steamship Authority (508-771-4000) offers two possibilities:
• The regular ferry takes approximately 2-1/4 hours each way and does not require advance reservations. However, reservations are required for automobiles (508-477-8600).
• The Flying Cloud takes 1 hour and while reservations are not always required we suggest you call them.

Hy-Line Cruises (800-492-8082)
Offering two ferry services between Hyannis and Nantucket.
• The conventional service (approximately 2 hours each way) does not require reservations.
• The high-speed ferry (approximately 1hour each way) does require advance reservations.
